2nd Annual YOUR Downtown Photo Exhibit

Downtown St.Catharines is an area rich with heritage, culture and characters from all walks of life. WalkSTC and Mahtay Cafe are joining forces on a photo exhibit to showcase this unique part of our city. WalkSTC - YOUR Downtown is an opportunity for you to share how you see downtown’s architecture, people and its hidden gems.

The photos must be taken while walking throughout the downtown and preferably with your Smartphone.

This year we are asking for photos in the following categories:

• Industry
  
• Heritage Architecture & Details
  
• People 
  
• Nature & Parks
• Streetscene

The exhibit will hang at Mahtay Cafe at 241 St. Paul Street from May 1 to 31, 2015.

Entries for the exhibit will be accepted from March 1, 2015 until Midnight April 10, 2015.

DEADLINE EXTENDED! We will be accepting photo submissions until April 15th.  

The first 30 photographers will be selected and are encouraged to submit multiple photos.  Each will be given a one-foot-wide wall space to hang their photos.  Photos must be printed (minimum size of 8 inches by 8 inches) and ready to hang at the expense of the submitting photographer.

• Twitter include @Walk STC or @MahtayCafe and the hashtag #WalkSTC

• Instagram include @Walk STC or @MahtayCafe and the hashtag #WalkSTC

• Please include your contact information, category and the device or camera type used.

There will be an exhibit opening party when the submitted photos will be judged by an impartial jury and prizes will be given for the photos in each category.
